Your device page should look something like this:
This is for a AMC 600 PCM6.1 with DIO 6.1 + AIO 6.1 card
To add modbusTCP /IP, right click on device (PCM6.1)
Then add an ethernet adapter
Then right click on ethernet and add modbus TCP client
Then right click on modbus_TCP_Client and add modbus TCP server
The IP in Ethernet is what IP/port on the AMC should use to connect to the unit you want to read data from
The IP In modbus_TCP_Server is what IP you want to read data from:
To add what values you want to read, go to modbus slave channel and add all the vales you want to read.
To map modbus values to internal variabels go to modbusTCPServer I/O Mapping
Now you should be able to read data from your unit
If everything works correctly all devices should be green in the left side, and you should be able to see data in the mapping page:
