Checking your ASW:
When your on the main Screen V3 on the display. Press left and go to the setup. In the top right corner there will be your ASW Version. Please note this number.
Open The USW-3:
Opening the USW-3. The software can be found using the following way.
- Press the link and follow the steps DEIF Software - Get the latest versions for full functionality.
Connect to the controller:
- Start by powering on the AGC 4 MKII, using a 24V DC power supply, if it isn’t already (see installation instructions).
- Using a Service USB cable, connect your PC to the AGC 4 MKII, it is also possible to do via Ethernet.
- Select the Service USB under the Communications type,
- Choose your com port.
- Press connect.
Password:
- Enter your credentials and log on the controller, you can take a backup from all levels.
Making a backup:
- To make a back up file, you need to select Batch read and write from the top bar and choose Backup Device.
- Chose a file name and location:
- Wait for the backup to finish, this can take up to 15 minutes. You will get the following pop up when it’s done.
- Confirm that you have the backup file.
Remove the old card:
- Power off the controller
- Remove plugs and the 6 Torx 10 screw holding the lid on.
- First carefully remove the PSM card in slot 5/ mid slot.
- Next remove the old measurement card from slot 7.
Inserting the new card:
- Insert the new measurement card in the same Slot. Making sure to insert It via the guide pins. And checking that it is set correctly and alle the way in the bottom.
- Next insert the PSM card. Making sure to insert It via the guide pins. And checking that It is set correctly and alle the way in the bottom.
- Place the lid on the controller, making sure to align the lid correctly. Fasten the 6 Torx 10 screw holding the lid. Insert the plugs and fasten the display connector and insert the USB.
- Power on the controller and confirm that it lights up in the indicators and the screen.
Restore your options:
- Log on the USW3 and select Upgrade Options. In the options wizard you will need to fill in your credentials and complete the steps. You can find information on the sticker placed on the controller.
- Save the file as an PDF and send It to your local DEIF support department. DEIF will process your order and send a new code to you. Choose the tab Write new options, insert your new key. If the key’s okay, it will say “Valid key”. Press okay then go to the next step.
Restore file to device:
- To restore the file, you need to select Batch read and write from the top bar and choose Restore Device. Select the file you made earlier.
- Wait for the restore to finish, this can take 15 minutes. You will get the following pop up when it’s done.
Checking your ASW:
When your on the main Screen V3 on the display. Press left and go to the setup. In the top right corner there will be your ASW Version. Verify that the ASW version is the same as before.
