The MIC-2 MKII has received a new add-on module, and a new Utility Software has been developed. These updates apply to the following products: HW version 3.15 and higher.
You can connect to the unit in two ways:

✅ TCP (Modbus TCP - Explained below)
Step 1: Insert the AXM-WEB2 Module
- Power off the MIC-2 MKII.
- Remove the plastic lid on the back of the unit.
- Place the AXM-WEB2 module in the designated slot.
- Fasten the module with two screws.
- Power on the controller.
- Insert an Ethernet cable into the module.
Step 2: Set the Protocol
- Press the 'H' and 'V/A' buttons simultaneously for 1 second.
- Release the buttons – the ‘Meter’ cursor will start flashing.
- Use the 'P' or 'E' button to move the cursor to ‘Setting’.
- Bypass addresses and password by pressing ‘V/A’.
- Enter "SYS" by pressing ‘V/A’.
- Press the 'E' button until you reach 'S37 PROTOCOL 2'.
- Set the Protocol to "Other" using the 'P' or 'E' button.
- Press ‘V/A’ to confirm.
Step 3: Set the Baud Rate
- Navigate to "S03 BPS2" using the 'P' button.
- Enter the menu by pressing 'V/A'.
- Scroll to "115200" and confirm with 'V/A'.
- Perform a power cycle:
- Navigate to "S54" and select “YES” using 'V/A'.
Step 4: Set Up the IP Address
- Press 'H' and 'V/A' simultaneously for 1 second.
- Use the 'P' or 'E' button to move the cursor to ‘Setting’.
- Bypass addresses and password by pressing ‘V/A’.
- Enter "NET" by pressing ‘V/A’.
- Menu NO1: Set DHCP to “MANU”.
- Menu NO2: Set the IP address (Default: 169.254.162.200).
Step 5: Connect to DEIF Multi Instruments Software
- Run the program as Admin (Recommended).
- Set your PC to the same IP range as the unit.
- Open settings in the software.
- Select Modbus TCP.
- Enter the unit's IP address and save the settings.
- In the menu, hit the checkmark and press Connect.
Now your MIC-2 MKII is successfully connected to the WEB2 module via Modbus TCP! ?
Note: If you are using an OLD WEB module on a new MIC-2 MKII the baud rate must be set to 38400.
