This Guide is made on Codesys SP20 and using the 2.0.9.0 Application SW.

1. Installation

To install CODESYS and the required setup, please follow the official guide available on the product page:
"CODESYS Guidelines for AMC 300, AMC 600, AWC 500, and iE 250"

2. Hardware Preparation

First, wire the power supply to the unit.


3. Opening the Project

  1. Open your project in CODESYS.

  2. Go to the Device page.

  3. Click Scan Network.

  4. Select the device from the list and click OK.Note: If you have not yet set up a device user, you will be prompted to do so. Set it up now.

  1. Log in to the device

  2. You are now connected and ready to proceed with the setup.


4. Library Check

Ensure the required libraries are available.

Note: Libraries can be found on the browser page inside CODESYS.

5. Add Visualization

  1. Add the object Visualization to your project. 

  2. Give it a name.

This is where you can begin creating your HMI. I have just added a DEIF logo. 

Tip: To add an image to your HMI, use the object Image Pool.

6. Configure Web Visualization

  1. Go to Visualization Manager.

  2. Select WebVisu.

  3. Apply the necessary configuration changes. 

7. Deploy HMI

  1. Write the changes to the unit.

  2. Restart the unit to initialize the WebVisu interface.

You can now view and interact with your HMI through the iE-250 PLC.
