Our recommendation is no longer than 6 m cable. However, we have seen 10 m working without any problems. Also connecting 2 * 6 m standard cables together has proven to work.

If this should not be enough then you can always recommend the X2 option (a second DU-2 display which is connected to the standard DU-2 via CANbus).
